Book a session | Structural Integration
You're warmly invited to book a Structural Integration session
Sessions take place in Delft on Mondays and Tuesdays, and in exceptional cases also on Saturdays.
To schedule an appointment, please send an email or use the from below.
-
Your name
-
A brief introduction (in Dutch or English)
-
Your availability (preferred dates and times)
Once your session is scheduled, you’ll receive a short intake questionnaire to help tailor the session to your needs.
Looking forward to meeting you.
What to Expect
Structural Integration sessions take place mostly on a massage table and include some movement explorations on or beside the table. The work involves direct contact with the fascial system of the body and is typically done with the client in underwear or sportswear (e.g. comfortable briefs or a two-piece set that allows access to the body’s structure).
Please bring:
-
A large towel
-
A pillowcase or cover for the headrest
-
Optional: an extra sheet layer for warmth or comfort during movement portions
The space is held with professional care and clear boundaries, and your comfort and consent are essential throughout.

Somatic Structural Integration|
Touched by nature
Structural Integration is a body-oriented manual treatment method consisting of a series of ten sessions. Through a structured progression and the use of (myo)fascial techniques, the body is gradually reorganized in relation to gravity (the polarity between heaven and earth), bringing the structure back into balance and allowing the body to move more freely in space. The method focuses not only on physical alignment, but also on how the body is experienced and perceived within its spatial environment.
When a body becomes imbalanced—due to trauma, overexertion, or prolonged tension—it often loses freedom and efficiency of movement, leading to both physical and emotional complaints. The body adapts through compensation patterns, which over time become habitual and energy-draining. Structural Integration helps make these patterns visible and tangible, creating space for recovery, relief, and renewed freedom of movement.
While the Ten Series offers a consistent roadmap, each journey is individually tailored to the unique history, structure, and capacity of the client.
Structural Integration was developed in the 1950s by Dr. Ida Rolf, a pioneer who was among the first to explore how the human body could be optimized through the fascial network (connective tissue) and its relationship with gravity.
About the Ten Series
Structural Integration is often offered as a series of ten sessions. These are divided into three phases:
-
Sessions 1–3: Focus on the body's outer layers and surface breath
-
Sessions 4–7: Address deeper structures and core alignment
-
Sessions 8–10: Integrate and coordinate the whole body in movement
Each of these three parts is designed to be experienced as a coherent set, with sessions ideally scheduled closer together(within 1–2 weeks) to support continuity and integration.
Depending on your individual process, your practitioner may suggest more time between certain sessions to allow deeper integration or rest. This will always be discussed and adapted to your needs.
The 10 |
Series

Why the 10 series work so powerfully
The 10 Series is a carefully structured sequence of sessions that approaches the body in layers—from superficial to deep, and from local tension patterns to global integration. The goal is not just physical relaxation or pain relief, but a fundamental reorganization of the body’s structure in relation to gravity, movement freedom, and inner awareness.

What people say

Riri
After session 4: “A weight has been lifted—it feels like I’m wearing a light blue summer dress, the kind that flutters in the wind.”

Dee
"I noticed after the last session that I'm now able to do certain yoga postures that were previously impossible for me."

A-men
“This touch isn’t just scientific—it’s deeply personal. I feel all kinds of movements ... I’m like a kid inside, but it never really showed in how I moved…I felt burdened. Now I feel like jumping around and being ...less weighed down by all the responsibilities I usually carry.”

Eljo
My wife asked 'has your voice gotten deeper? ' Yes, this bodywork, shifts more than just posture.

Seren
I find this really special—I truly feel like you listen to me. I’m so happy and feel different in my body now. When I notice pain or tension, I no longer think something is wrong with me. Instead, I ask the area, “What can I do for you?” and it immediately feels much calmer.

"One of my grandmothers was a ballet dancer, the other was strong and solid—perhaps I carry something of both within me."

What is Fascia? |
More than just a passive structure
Fascia, or connective tissue, is an intelligent and adaptive network that permeates and connects the entire body. It envelops muscles, bones, organs, nerves, and blood vessels, forming a flexible and resilient web that supports and organizes our bodily structure. Fascia is more than just a passive structure: it is a living communication system that works in close collaboration with the nervous system.
Fascia is rich in nerve endings and contains a high concentration of sensory receptors, including mechanoreceptors, proprioceptors, nociceptors (for pain), and interoceptors (for internal sensations). These receptors constantly send signals to the brain about pressure, tension, posture, pain, movement, and even emotional state. As such, fascia plays a vital role in our body awareness (proprioception), balance, and self-perception..
When fascia becomes stuck, dehydrated, or overly tense—due to stress, trauma, or repetitive movement patterns—its signaling capacity is disrupted. This can result in sensations of stiffness, disorientation, or a feeling of being "disconnected" from the body. Through touch, intentional movement, and conscious awareness, we can support the restoration of the fascia. This not only affects the physical structure, but also the quality of our nervous system and the way we experience our bodies.
Hydration plays a key role in this process: fascia is made up largely of water, and well-hydrated connective tissue has greater glide, elasticity, and signal conductivity. Movement—especially rhythmic, gentle, and mindful—stimulates hydration and keeps the fascia vibrant and communicative.
By approaching fascia as a sensing, responsive organ in cooperation with the nervous system, we open the door to deeper integration, balance, and inner calm.
